Semester 2 Entry 1

What is research? List everything you know about research. Make sure you give examples of research you have done.

• Some information are hard to search
• Interent research is easier than using books
• Not fun doing research
• Needs better sites to research besides Google

Some research I've done is about basketball (for informational text), video games and new places to go. I've researched about Egypt(Social Studies Project), and about Greek(Compare and Contrast Essay for Social Studies).

What are the pros and cons of research? Why in the world do you hear the word research so often in school?

The good thing about research is learning new things and learning new sites. Some bad things of research is not finding what I'm looking for. We hear the word research so much in school because we always do research for our assigments for projects or for essays.

What are questions that you have about research? What would you like to know more about? What would you like to learn?

I would like to learn more how to do more better research. Also how to get the most important information from the text.  And some questions for research is: How do we know if it's the right information while researching? What other elements we can do to be better researches?
